Wearable Technologies
Sensor systems integrated into mission suits and personal protective equipment: physiological and environmental data capture, wireless transfer, low power budget.
What we do
We develop sensor systems designed to be embedded in mission suits and personal protective equipment. These systems capture physiological data such as heart rate, temperature and motion, and environmental data such as pressure, humidity and ambient temperature.
Size, weight and power budget are the biggest constraints in a wearable system. From sensor selection to board design, from enclosure packaging to antenna placement, every decision is made with these constraints in mind.
The collected data is transferred wirelessly, either to a ground unit for real-time monitoring or logged for post-flight analysis; both modes are supported depending on the need.
